This mandate was issued by the House Committee on Sports during a meeting with the NFF at the National Assembly in Abuja.

Chairman of the House Committee on Sports, Olumide Osoba, emphasized the importance of Nigeria’s qualification for the World Cup, stating that failure to do so would be unforgivable. He further stressed the need for transparency and accountability in the NFF’s activities.

In response, President of the NFF, Amaju Pinnick, reassured the House of Representatives of the federation’s commitment to financial transparency and collaboration to ensure Nigeria’s qualification for the 2022 World Cup.
