You cant do anything, we will unhesitatingly confront & strike you – Iran’s Supreme leader responds to Trump’s war threats

Iran’s Supreme leader has given a strong response to the recent war threats issued by US President Donald Trump. The threats were in reaction to the storming of the US Embassy in Baghdad by protesters. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei declared in a press conference that the US “can’t do anything” against Iran. He also emphasized that while Iran does not seek war, it will not hesitate to defend its rights and interests if necessary.

The tensions between the US and Iran have escalated since President Trump withdrew from the 2015 Iran nuclear deal due to concerns about Iran’s influence in the Middle East and its support for anti-Israel groups. The recent attacks on Iran-backed Kataib Hezbollah by the US military have further heightened the situation.

Following the embassy protests, a spokesperson for Kataib Hezbollah stated that the protests were just the “first step” and urged the US to shut down the embassy and withdraw its military forces from Iraq.

The situation remains tense as both countries continue to stand firm in their positions.
