Yoruba Village’s Oba in the US Fatally Stabbed by Alleged ‘Sister’

Reports indicate that the leader of Oyotunji African Village in Beaufort County, South Carolina, USA, known as Oba Adejuyigbe Adefunmi II, whose real name is Adegbolu Abiogemo Adefunmi, was fatally stabbed by his sister following a heated argument.

ABC News 4 mentioned that the tragic incident took place on Monday, July 29, 2024. Authorities in South Carolina were notified about the stabbing at around 2:45 p.m. at the village located on Bryant Lane, as per the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.

After being rushed to a nearby hospital, the 47-year-old victim succumbed to his wounds. For more details, click here
