Yemi Alade, the Nigerian singer, took the stage at the Stade Olympique Alessane Ouattara in Abidjan to kick off the opening ceremony of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Ivory Coast. Alongside Egyptian rapper Mohamed Ramadan and Magic System, she contributed to the AFCON 2023’s official song ‘AKWAABA’.
Coming as no surprise, Alade had already announced her performance at the ceremony and fans were eagerly awaiting her appearance.
