Granit Xhaka, the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder, believes that Arsenal still have a shot at winning the Premier League title.
Arsenal currently sits in second place, trailing Manchester City by two points as they enter the final five fixtures of the season.
Xhaka has conveyed his support to his former colleagues as they aim to improve on their performance from last season.
Reflecting on the team’s recent form, Xhaka remarked, “This is part of the game. I think it was a run of 10 or 11 unbeaten games. Losing one game doesn’t mean that all is lost already.”
He added, “With six games remaining in the Premier League, there is still a significant opportunity to clinch the title.”
Sharing his thoughts on Arsenal’s chances, Xhaka commented, “Can Arsenal win the title? They are very close this year, just like last year. However, football hinges on minor details. I am hopeful that they can achieve it.”
