Wikki Tourists Miss Out on NNL Playoff Spot, Audu Expresses Disappointment

The failure of Wikki Tourists to secure a spot in the Nigeria National League Super Eight playoff has left their head coach, Azeez Audu, deeply disappointed.

In a post-match interview, Audu expressed his disappointment while also urging the Bauchi Elephants’ supporters to remain patient.

He took a moment to appreciate the efforts of the players and the management team despite the setback.

Regarding the outcome, Audu mentioned, “It was disheartening to lose at this crucial stage, but we must accept that it was destined by a higher power. We ask for calm from all our stakeholders.”

Reflecting on the collective efforts put in by everyone involved, he added, “All parties involved, from the commissioner to the management, technical team, players, and the support staff, have worked tirelessly to secure promotion this season. Unfortunately, the results did not go in our favor.”

El-Kanemi Warriors, Nasarawa United, Sokoto United, and Madiba FC are the four teams that successfully qualified for the NNL Super Eight playoff.
