Wike: Tinubu Prepared for Discussion amidst EndBadGovernance Campaign

President Bola Tinubu is open to engaging in dialogue, according to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, as nationwide protests kicked off on Thursday.

Wike and Tinubu had a meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on that same day.

The FCT witnessed significant demonstrations, leading security personnel to utilize tear gas to disperse the protesters.

Wike has affirmed the willingness of the Federal Government to have discussions with the protesters.

During the handover of the Staff of the Office to four newly appointed Chiefs of Karu, Kwali, Pai, and Yaba, he made this declaration.

Encouraging the continuation of the peace process, Wike stressed the importance of striving for peace to reap its benefits.

He commended the efforts made and urged ongoing communication with the people, reiterating the government’s readiness to engage in dialogue to address any areas of concern.

Wike also emphasized the importance of providing the protesters with comprehensive information to enable them to make well-informed decisions.
