We feel your pains, LP tells Nigerians

Labour Party comforts Nigerians amid hardships

The Lagos State chapter of the Labour Party has urged Nigerians, particularly Lagos residents, to maintain hope despite the challenges the nation is currently facing. The state’s LP Chairperson, Dayo Ekong, conveyed this sentiment in a message to Nigerians in honor of the 2023 Christmas celebration. The message was issued by Mrs. Olubunmi Odesanya, the LP Publicity Secretary in the state.

Ekong described the season as a time of joy, peace, and an opportunity to reflect on God’s goodness and love for humanity. She emphasized that there is still hope for the nation, regardless of the severity of the current economic hardships.

“Labour Party in Lagos State felicitates with the Christians in the State, the nation, and the entire world on this very important occasion. We acknowledge the pain you are going through and urge you not to lose hope. Every pain and suffering has an expiry date, and we are confident that the cycle of hardship, struggles, and a bleak future will soon be broken,” she said.

The party leader also called for prayers for peace and prosperity in the country, expressing confidence that things will improve. “All will be well with our dear country and us all,” Ekong reassured. She extended warm wishes to Lagos residents for a merry Christmas and a peaceful, prosperous New Year.
