Warning from Abia State Government: Criminals Displaced by Security Team Heading to Rural Areas

In light of recent operations conducted by Operation Crush, Abia State government has noticed a trend where suspected criminals, who were forced out of their previous hideouts, are now seeking refuge in rural communities within the state.

The motive behind this relocation is believed to be an attempt to evade detection by law enforcement authorities.

This alert was issued over the weekend by Navy Commander Mac Donald Uba (Rtd), the Special Adviser on Security Matters to Governor Alex Otti, through an official press release.

Residents of Abia are advised to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities or individuals they encounter in their neighborhoods.

Furthermore, the Special Adviser emphasized the importance of community leaders such as traditional rulers, Presidents-General, village heads, and village chairmen in reporting any suspicious characters to the nearest police station or security agency.
