VON DG’s Urges Collaboration between Media and Military for Enhanced National Security


Mallam Jibrin Ndace, Director General of Voice of Nigeria, VON, emphasized the need for effective coordination between the media and the military to address insecurity in Nigeria.

His statement came shortly after the launch of projects carried out by the Nigerian Army’s Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) in Minna, Niger State.

He urged his media colleagues for maximum cooperation to promote the full activities of the Nigerian Army, asserting that good reportage of military activities is crucial in securing Nigeria.

Mallam Ndace also commended the TRADOC Commandant’s commissioning of blocks of flats built to enhance the welfare of military personnel.

Furthermore, the TRADOC recognized Malam Jibrin Baba Ndace, Director General of the Voice of Nigeria (VON), for his significant commitment to promoting the activities of the Nigerian Army.

The award was presented by representatives of the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Sani Gambo Mohammed, who highlighted the DG’s integral role in the success of military operations against insurgency during his service as a field reporter with the Army.

The Nigerian Army acknowledged the DG’s exceptional efforts, expressing gratitude for his tremendous support, especially in their endeavors to restore the nation’s glory.
