On Monday, February 10, Patience Jonathan, the former First Lady, paid a visit to her successor, Aisha Buhari, at the state house in Abuja.
Aisha Buhari tweeted about the visit and mentioned that they discussed the increased involvement of women in politics and at lower levels of governance.
The First Lady disclosed that they also focused on girl child education, Patience Jonathan’s project “women for change”, as well as her predecessor’s experiences during her husband, Goodluck Jonathan’s administration.
Aisha added that she listened to Patience Jonathan’s perspectives on issues concerning women and children in society.
