Sharing his perspective, former Super Eagles goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama explained why he did not throw his hat in the ring for the team’s head coach position.
Following the expiration of Jose Peseiro’s contract, various ex-Nigerian players have been rumored to be in the running for the coaching role.
Enyeama revealed that he would have considered applying if he had completed his coaching certification and if his primary focus was not dedicated to his hotel business.
According to Enyeama’s statement to Afrik-Foot, meeting the certification requirement is essential to be eligible for coaching the Super Eagles.
He added, “This is the primary reason. Additionally, my hotel venture demands a significant portion of my time and attention, making it my current top priority.”
