In Enugu State, the body of the renowned Nollywood actor Charles Okafor, also known as Mr Ibu, has made its way.
Accompanied by his family, including his second son, the arrival occurred on Tuesday.
It was reported by NewsNow that the veteran actor passed away at the age of 62 due to a cardiac arrest on Saturday at Lagos’s Evercare Hospital following an extended ailment that led to the amputation of one of his legs.
He had been diagnosed with damaged blood vessels.
Soliciting funds from Nigerians, his family stated that the actor faced constant blood clotting in his leg due to diseased blood vessels and other health issues that posed a threat to his life, necessitating the amputation.
