A video has surfaced capturing one of the final moments of the late veteran Nollywood actor, John Okafor, famously known as Mr Ibu, before his passing on Saturday.
In the circulating video on social media, the actor, while on his hospital bed, expressed gratitude to singer Rudeboy of P-Square just hours before he left us.
Reflecting on the event, he emphasized that everything unfolds at God’s appointed time, stating, “When the time arrives, it has arrived.”
Addressing Rudeboy, he remarked, “Rudeboy, I am at a loss for words. But every occurrence is at the precise timing of God. When the time arrives, it has arrived.
“Rudeboy, if you don’t make it to heaven, just call me ‘nama’ [meat]. You will make it to heaven, and we will have a meal together in the company of angels.
“The discussion today will likely be, ‘How is this possible? Mr Ibu and P-Square, not from the same roots.’ But I assure you, the lineage has manifested.”
Mr Ibu passed away at 62 from a cardiac arrest.
