Victor Osimhen, the Nigerian international, has unveiled the influencers behind his decision to model his footballing style after the iconic Chelsea player, Didier Drogba.
As affirmed by the Super Eagles striker on numerous occasions, he considers the Ivorian legend as his mentor.
Osimhen shared that during his childhood, he was exposed to Drogba’s footballing flair, as well as the fervent supporters and the entire community linked to the game.
With his hold-up play, aerial abilities, and physical stature, Osimhen often draws comparisons to Drogba among fans.
Expressing his admiration for Drogba, Osimhen said, “I have always been inspired by Didier Drogba. When I was young, I was introduced to his playing style, the enthusiastic fans, and the broader community that motivated me to emulate him.”
“Subsequently, I delved into studying his techniques through various clips and endeavored to incorporate his movements into my own gameplay,” he added.
