Victor Moses’ Decision to Join Inter Milan over Other Clubs

Victor Moses, the retired Super Eagles player, shared the reason behind his decision to join Italian club Inter Milan, overlooking interest from premier league clubs to reunite with his former manager at Chelsea, Antonio Conte.

The in-loan Chelsea winger Victor Moses signed for the Black and Blues in January after terminating his 18-month loan deal with Turkish side Fenerbahce and has now clarified the motive behind his move.

“I am deeply passionate about football, it has been my lifelong passion. It runs in my veins and defines my identity. The pivotal moment of my career was my debut with Crystal Palace at the age of 16,” shared Moses with Inter’s Matchday Programme, as per Football Italia.

“When I stepped onto the field, the atmosphere was electrifying. It reinforced my belief that football was my purpose, something I could wholeheartedly commit to with 100 percent dedication.

“He [Conte] is an exceptional individual and coach, and I am well acquainted with his methodologies. He demands the best from his players, which is the primary reason for my presence here. I have previously worked with him and understand his expectations: he simply wants us to give our all, work diligently, and enjoy implementing our brand of football.

“Naturally, that aligns with my aspirations – winning alongside him, this team, and a remarkable club. I was already acquainted with [Romelu] Lukaku, [Ashley] Young, and [Christian] Eriksen. They are all remarkable individuals, and we are all united in our endeavors.”
