Veteran Yoruba actress Anike Alajogun diagnosed with COVID-19 in the UK

Veteran Yoruba actress and producer, Alhaja Anike Alajogun, residing in London and working as a nurse, has received a positive diagnosis for COVID-19.

 

Alhaja Anike Alajogun, also known as Yeye Oba, left acting in Nigeria to pursue a nursing career with the NHS in Manchester, UK.

 

The UK and Nigeria socialite, who is the owner of the renowned Mataan Hotel in Ibadan, Oyo state, contracted the virus while providing care to patients in the UK.

 

After experiencing unwell symptoms, she underwent a Coronavirus test which returned a positive result.

 

She has been fighting COVID-19 for the past week and has been placed under mandatory two weeks self-isolation by 111.
