Not only the founder, CEO, and lead designer of SpaceX, Musk declared that accounts with 2,500 verified subscribers will now enjoy premium features at zero cost. Those exceeding the 5,000 milestone will be elevated further with Premium+.
The billionaire, who took over X (previously known as Twitter) in 2022, made the announcement through his X handle, sparking a wave of cheers and eager expectations.

In a tweet, Musk announced, “Moving forward, all X accounts with more than 2500 verified subscriber followers will receive Premium features at no cost, while accounts exceeding 5000 will enjoy Premium+ for free.”
X Premium subscription provides account owners with various benefits, such as reduced advertisements, the opportunity for revenue sharing, and additional features.
On the other hand, X Premium+ subscription steps it up by offering exclusive advantages like an ad-free interface and priority response privileges.
Amid a growing rivalry with OpenAI, Musk also confirmed that the Grok AI chatbot, previously exclusive to X Premium+ users, will soon be accessible to all Premium users.
