The head coach of Algerian side USM Alger, Juan Carlos Garedo, has expressed his team’s determination to secure a win in the upcoming CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final match against Rivers United.
Rivers United will be hosting USM Alger for the first leg at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Sunday, with the game set to kick off at 2 pm.
Garedo stated, “We are fully committed to returning from Nigeria with a victory,” in an interview with the club’s media team.
The USM Alger team is scheduled to arrive in Nigeria for the match on Friday, gearing up for the intense encounter.
The return leg is slated to take place at the Stade du 5 Juillet Stadium in Algeria on Sunday, April 7, 2024.
