Ropvil Dalep Daciya, a University of Maiduguri 200 Level Biology Education student from Jing in Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State, has been identified as the hostage executed by a Boko Haram boy. In a heartfelt statement, Cmr. Friday Bako expressed deep concern over the execution of Mr. Ropvil Daciya Dalep and emphasized the threat it poses to national security, education, peace, and unity. He also highlighted the need for those responsible for safeguarding lives and property to enhance internal security for a safer nation. In addition, he reflected on the negative influence of the teenage Boko Haram member involved in the heinous act and extended his condolences to the bereaved families.

In a strong condemnation, Gagdi expressed dismay at the brutal “execution” of Daciya Ropvil Dalep, stressing the need for increased efforts to eradicate the activities of the terrorist organization and the dire consequences faced by those living in the insurgency-affected northeastern part of Nigeria. He also assured the public of presenting the case at the National Assembly for further action, advocating for more support to the security operatives fighting insurgency in Nigeria.
