Unilorin students delight actress, Bukola Arugba as she visits Alma Mater, earns recognition (Video)


The University of Ilorin welcomed Nollywood actress, Bukola Arugba with great enthusiasm during her recent visit.

The students of the school were eager to catch a glimpse of the charming screen goddess and take pictures with her.

Bukola attended the World Mental Health Summit organized by the school, where she delivered a brief speech and presented poetry on mental health using the entertainment industry as a case study.

Accompanying her on the visit was skitmaker, Taaooma.

Sharing clips from the memorable event, Bukola expressed gratitude to God for the honor and warm reception she received.

Thanking God, she recalled her unforgettable experience, during which she also received an award.

“I give all the glory to Almighty God for giving me the opportunity to participate in the World Mental Health Summit at the University of Ilorin. Here is my brief speech and a poetry recitation (spoken words) on mental health using the entertainment industry as a case study.”

Kie Kie receives warm welcome as she visits Bowen University, secures new position

Last year, Nigerian comedian, content creator, and actress Bukunmi Adeaga – Ilori, known as Kie Kie, received a warm welcome when she returned to her alma mater, Bowen University.

This talented skit maker was appointed as the Brand Ambassador for Bowen University.

She took to Instagram to share the exciting news and expressed her joy over this achievement.

She mentioned that the honor overwhelmed and rewarded her and spoke about how the whole school was in awe.

She couldn’t believe that her dream had come true, and the sweet gesture felt surreal to her.

Lateef Adedimeji pays a visit to his alma mater

In a similar vein, actor Lateef Adedimeji expressed his delight when he visited his former university and praised the present generation of students.

Sharing a video, the actor visited the hall of Olabisi Onabanjo University in Ijebu Ode, where he was invited to address the students.

Although more than ten years had passed since his graduation, he still felt a connection with his alma mater.

He found it fulfilling to see the younger generation willing to contribute to nation-building despite the challenges of the educational system.

However, the actor encouraged everyone present to learn from the little knowledge he shared, emphasizing that nation-building is a collective responsibility.
