After claiming that the late American basketball player Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna deserved to die due to an alleged incestuous affair, a Nigerian Twitter user faced severe backlash from other social media users.
Backing her assertion with a photo of Kobe and Gianna sharing a kiss on the lips, the user, @daenarysbaby, stated that their death in a helicopter crash served as a form of atonement for their supposed sins.
In addition, she claimed that God had appeared to her in a dream, informing her that he was going to kill the basketball legend and his daughter over the alleged incestuous affair.
Incensed by the tweet, numerous Nigerian Twitter users initiated a campaign that led to the suspension of the account, which had over 2,000 followers.
