The x-ray of Morayo Brown’s leg with rods and screws attached to it was shared as she recounted a terrifying accident where she believed God saved her. The TVC host took to Instagram to share her story, expressing gratitude for being given a second chance at life after surviving the life-threatening accident.
She revealed that the accident occurred 21 years ago in the US when the car she was traveling in flipped four times and ended up on a tree, leading to a helicopter rescue. Morayo then spent four days in a coma and two weeks in the hospital, undergoing speech therapy and surgery to repair her leg with a rod and four long screws attached. She also had to learn to walk again.
Recounting the challenging recovery process, Morayo shared her initial doubts about her future, feeling deformed and unsure if she would ever find love or continue her education. However, she eventually recovered, and experiencing remarkable support from the Christian community led to her parents also converting to Christianity.
Accompanying her story were photos of the x-ray showing the permanent fixtures in her leg. In her post, Morayo expressed gratitude for being saved and granted a new lease on life, emphasizing the significance of her scars as she turned 40. She credited the intervention of God and the prayers and support she received during her recovery.
