Tunde Onakoya Sets New Record by Reaching 57-Hour Mark

Renowned chess master, Tunde Onakoya, has achieved a remarkable feat by surpassing the previous Guinness World Record for the longest chess marathon. He has reached the 57-hour mark, exceeding the previous record of 56 hours and 9 minutes.

In a challenging endeavor to raise funds and awareness for providing educational opportunities to underprivileged children across Africa, Onakoya is now aiming to reach the 58-hour target.

The previous Guinness World Record of 56 hours and 9 minutes was held by Norwegian players Hallvard Haug Flatebø and Sjur Ferkingstad in 2018.
