Donald Trump criticizes President Biden over anti-Israel protests

Former President Donald Trump has voiced his strong disapproval of the anti-Israel protests currently taking place on college campuses, placing the blame squarely on President Joe Biden. Trump described the ongoing demonstrations at institutions such as Columbia and NYU as a disgrace and attributed responsibility to Biden.

Speaking outside the Manhattan court on Tuesday, the former President expressed his views, stating, “What’s happening at the college level… Columbia, NYU, and others is unacceptable. And it is largely Biden’s fault for allowing this to happen.”

Trump went on to criticize Biden for his lack of coherent messaging, compassion, and leadership, branding him as “the worst president in the history of our country” and emphasizing that the situation is a national disgrace.

Recent reports from NewsNow highlight a surge in antisemitism at some of America’s most prestigious universities, with incidents of demonstrators at Columbia campus threatening Jewish students as potential targets of Hamas.

Over the past week, more than 100 students were arrested at Columbia, while additional arrests were made at Yale and NYU. Some students have taken further action by demanding their schools completely sever ties with Israel, setting up encampments on campus.

Concerns over antisemitism were raised by a rabbi at Columbia, advising Jewish students to consider leaving campus due to safety concerns.

Chants inciting violence against Israeli soldiers were reportedly heard at Columbia, with protesters praising the Hamas militant group. In response to these developments, Biden publicly condemned the antisemitic protests and announced initiatives to address the issue.

Contrastingly, Trump criticized Biden’s stance towards Israel and the Arab world, claiming that the signals sent by the President were unfavorable. Trump asserted that Biden lacks support for Israel and does not foster positive relations with Arab nations.
