The Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has reported that its troops, on a combat patrol, have successfully neutralized several terrorists and apprehended others in Bwari Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Maj.-Gen. Edward Buba, the Director Media Operations, disclosed this during a briefing on Thursday, January 11, 2024, while addressing questions from journalists.
The troops also reportedly eliminated terrorists and violent extremists in Tafa local government area of Niger State.
According to reports, residents of Aram, Kuduru, and neighboring communities in Bwari local government area are relocating due to persistent attacks by bandits and incidents of kidnapping in the area.
