Trent Alexander-Arnold: Three Players Helped Liverpool Beat Newcastle

In Sunday’s Premier League clash against Newcastle United, Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has credited three players for their contribution to the team’s victory.

At St James’ Park, Liverpool came back from a goal down to win the Premier League away tie against Newcastle United.

During the match, Darwin Nunez’s two goals secured all three points for Jurgen Klopp’s side. However, Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk received a straight red card for a foul on Alexander Isak.

After the game, Alexander-Arnold praised Jarell Quansah, Harvey Elliot, and Nunez for their performances off the bench, stating that they were brilliant against Newcastle.

“You don’t always believe you can win the game, but if you stick together, you will get chances. The lads that came on were amazing. Jarell Quansah was absolutely outstanding.”

“We executed the change of plan excellently, scoring twice on the counter. The lads that came on, Darwin, Harvey, Quansah, all were brilliant,” Alexander-Arnold emphasized in his interview with Sky Sports.
