NewsNow has reported that Kelechi Iheanacho, the Super Eagles forward, is set to finalize a two-year deal with LaLiga’s Sevilla this week.
Today, Iheanacho is scheduled to arrive in Spain for his medical examination.
After completing the medical procedures, the 27-year-old is expected to formally sign the contract.
Sevilla, the former UEFA Europa League champions, will acquire the versatile striker on a free transfer.
Following the conclusion of his contract with Leicester City last month, Iheanacho decided to part ways with the Premier League club.
Furthermore, he will be rejoining Sevilla alongside his compatriot Chidera Ejuke, another Super Eagles player, who recently joined the Spanish club as a free agent.
