Real Madrid Warned: Mbappe Advised to Avoid Transfer As Vinicius Shines

Marcel Desailly, the renowned French football figure, has given his support to Kylian Mbappe considering a surprising move to the Saudi Pro League instead of the anticipated transfer to Real Madrid.

Having recently faced disappointment with Paris Saint-Germain’s elimination from the Champions League, Mbappe is expected to leave the club during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Although Madrid is a top contender for his signature, Desailly holds a different opinion.

Sharing his thoughts on Mbappe’s potential transfer, Desailly pointed out the competitive environment at Real Madrid, suggesting that it may not be the most suitable choice for Mbappe.

Citing the emergence of talents like Vinicius and Bellingham, Desailly argues that Mbappe might not get the spotlight he desires.

“I have already stated this; I would consider moving to a different continent. For Mbappe, Madrid might not be the optimal place for him. With Vinicius on the left and a talent like Bellingham, he won’t be the undisputed number one he desires,” Desailly shared on beIN Sports (via talkSPORT).

“When you think about the football business, for £350 million, I would move to Saudi Arabia for a year, then return next season – just in time for the World Cup – at the age of 26 and a half, cash in, and play football, because what does Mbappe truly want? He wants to play football.”
