Transfer: De Bruyne, Salah, Son to leave EPL

The departure of De Bruyne, Salah, and Son from the EPL is imminent. The Saudi Pro League is prepared to invest around £2 billion and has set its sights on Premier League players such as Kevin De Bruyne, Mohamed Salah, and Son Heung-min.

Players from Manchester City, Liverpool, and Tottenham are the latest targets for a move to the Middle East, as the league seeks to attract more high-profile names, according to Ben Jacobs.

Salah came close to leaving last summer, but Liverpool refused to negotiate, while De Bruyne was identified as a potential signing earlier in the season.

The Saudi dealmakers are confident about their ability to attract the 31-year-old, although securing his transfer this summer is not a certainty.

Acquiring De Bruyne will also pose a challenge for the Pro League. He recently made his comeback to Pep Guardiola’s team after a lengthy injury layoff.

Both De Bruyne and Salah have contracts with their respective clubs until 2025, and Guardiola is keen on extending the Belgian’s deal. This means that City would demand a substantial fee.

Son was also questioned about a potential move to Saudi Arabia last year, but the South Korean player and Spurs star dismissed the idea.

The potential transfers of De Bruyne, Salah, and Son mark an upheaval in the EPL.
