Strasbourg, a French Ligue 1 team, has welcomed Chelsea’s midfielder Andrey Santos back on a season-long loan.
On Friday, Chelsea confirmed this transfer through an announcement on their official website.
Having already spent the second half of last season with Strasbourg, Santos made 11 appearances and netted one goal.
The 20-year-old has bid farewell to Maresca’s squad, as they are currently on a summer tour in the USA.
Wishing him success, Chelsea’s statement expressed, “He will continue his growth at Strasbourg in the French top tier. Good luck, Andrey!”
