Reports indicate that a recent assault by individuals purported to be herdsmen in Kwatas village, located in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State, has resulted in the tragic loss of 13 lives.
The state’s police command has verified the attack and has disclosed that five other individuals sustained critical injuries. These victims are currently undergoing treatment at the general hospital in Bokkos.
In response, detectives, conventional policemen, and the police mobile force have been dispatched to Kwatas, a community neighboring the Plateau State University in the central zone of the state.
Law enforcement authorities have expressed their commitment to diligently pursue the apprehension of the perpetrators responsible for this grievous incident.
