Reports have emerged confirming the unfortunate passing of Hon. Gbenga Ayegbayo, the Chairman of Ejigbo Local Government in Osun state. He succumbed to an undisclosed illness.
After months of battling an undisclosed illness, he breathed his last on Monday, April 6, at a private hospital in Oyo State.
It is worth noting that the Coronavirus cases in Nigeria surged last week, as 127 individuals suspected of carrying the virus returned from Ivory Coast to Hon. Ayegbayo’s local government area. Among them, 17 tested positive for COVID-19.
