Tragic Death of Taraba Commissioner Following a Brief Illness

The late Alexander Markus Senlo, who served as the Taraba Commissioner for Rural Electrification, passed away after a short illness.

Mr. Senlo, a former local government council chairman and two-time commissioner, breathed his last in a Yola hospital on Monday, April 6.

According to the State Commissioner for Information, Danjuma Adamu, Senlo succumbed to his illness after being unwell for three days.

Meanwhile, Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku of Taraba State has extended his condolences to the bereaved family.

In a statement released by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Bala Dan Abu, Governor Ishaku praised the late Alexander Markus Senlo as “a grassroots politician and a loyal party man, an asset to our great party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).”

He added, “As a member of the state Executive Council, he made significant contributions to debates, particularly in the areas related to the provision of essential services to the rural population. His untimely demise has created a void that will be challenging to fill.”

“Governor Ishaku, on behalf of himself, the government, and the entire people of Taraba State, expresses deep sympathy to the family of the late Senlo and the entire people of Zing Local Government for this tragic and unfortunate loss.

“Governor Ishaku prays that the deceased may rest in eternal peace and that the family he leaves behind finds the strength to cope with the loss,” the statement concludes.
