At the 2024 Olympics in Paris, world champion Tobi Amusan successfully advanced to the semifinals of the 100-meter hurdles. Amusan clocked in at 12.49 seconds, leading the group of eight athletes. Following closely behind were Alaysha Johnson from the United States with a time of 12.61 seconds and Janeek Brown from Jamaica, who qualified with a time of 12.84 seconds.
