Self-care suggestion: Sensation overwhelmed? Retreat momentarily and inhale. 🧘🏾‍♀️

Take a walk, indulge in your favored repast, observe your preferred television show, converse with a companion about anything, or embrace a fresh pastime.

Whatever you decide to do, just apprehend that it’s alright to pause in order to center yourself again. You can’t pour from an empty cup, so allocate some time to replenish, and delight in that sentiment unapologetically.”

Kemi Filani news recalls that Beverly Naya earlier spoke on what stimulated her documentary, ‘Skin’, the movie star expressed that most black women don’t appreciate their coloring as many women in our society ‘bleach’ their skin because they want to be perceived as more desirable.

“They feel like having dark skin is not beautiful. According to the World Health Organization, 77 percent of Nigerian women bleach their skin. Understanding the facts and realizing that a lot of people in our society do not have a clear understanding of what colorism is inspired the documentary. It was about creating awareness and allowing people to learn about colorism,” she added.
