Tinubu shattered, battered Nigeria under one year – Atiku’s aide replies Akpabio

Paul Ibe, spokesman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Atiku Abubakar, has accused President Bola Tinubu of shattering, battering and scattering Nigeria within one year in office.

Ibe was reacting to a remark by Senate President Godswill Akpabio that Nigeria will become unrecognizable at the end of Tinubu’s tenure.

The Senate President spoke during the flag off of Kugbo Bus Terminal in Abuja.

Akpabio said, “I have no doubt that by the time the president is through with his tenure in the country, seven years from today (Tuesday), many people will not recognize FCT, they will not recognize Nigeria again.”

He urged Nigerians to pray for Tinubu and hope that the challenges facing the country would be over.

Reacting, Ibe said Tinubu’s one year in office had brought untold hardship on Nigerians.

Posting on X, Ibe wrote: “Senate President Godswill Akpabio is right that nobody will recognize Nigeria when Tinubu is done with it.

“It is barely a year, but the Nigeria that was handed over to him is scattered, battered, and shattered. It is already unrecognizable.”
