Tinubu, Buhari condole minister over mother’s death

President Bola Tinubu has extended his condolences to the Minister of State for Police Affairs, Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim, over the death of her mother, Aisha Sulaiman-Danladi.

According to a statement issued on Thursday by the presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, Tinubu also commiserated with the Sulaiman-Danladi family, noting that losing a loved one, especially a beloved mother, is such a harrowing experience.

The statement added, “President urges the minister to take solace in the eternal legacies of the deceased and honour her by immortalising her example of service and kindness to all.

“Tinubu also prays for the repose of the soul of the deceased and comfort for her family.”

Also, former President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the death of Hajiya Sulaiman-Ibrahim, who is also the mother-in-law to Senator Sani Musa.

In a statement issued by his media aide, Garba Shehu, the former President condoled with the minister, who was a former Director General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and Federal Commissioner for Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons under his administration.

The statement added, “Buhari said the late Hajiya Aisha’s gentle nature, commitment to family values, integrity in public life and contributions to society are reflected in the personality and work of her children. May Allah repose her soul and grant her Aljannah.

“The former president urged the children she left behind to uphold the decency and decorum exemplified by their mother.”
