Time for Genuine Change as APC, PDP Disappoint Nigerians – NNPP Chair

The Chairman of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in Osun State, Tosin Odeyemi, has criticized both the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and the main opposition, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for failing the nation.

Odeyemi, in a statement released to the press in Osogbo on Wednesday, highlighted the shortcomings of the two dominant political parties in the country, emphasizing the urgent need for a fresh and capable leadership to address the current challenges facing Nigeria.

He emphasized the necessity for Nigeria to usher in a new era of politics, suggesting that the ongoing economic crisis could have been averted if leaders were transparent and courageous in tackling the vested interests stifling the nation’s progress.

As the 2023 election approaches, Odeyemi urged Nigerians to elect leaders with integrity and credibility, advocating for individuals willing to make tough decisions regardless of whose interests are at stake.

“Nigeria requires a leader of integrity who is unafraid to make transformative decisions, regardless of the consequences,” he asserted. “Having experienced both the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC), it is evident that their governance has led us to the current state of widespread hunger.”
