Three Suspected Cultists Apprehended by Lagos Police

The Police Command in Lagos State has reported the arrest of three suspected cultists in the Ishashi area.

SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the command’s spokesperson, shared the news with the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday.

Lagos Commissioner of Police, Mr Adegoke Fayoade, had pledged to eliminate criminals from the state.

Hundeyin revealed that the three suspects were apprehended by the police at 6:30 am on Saturday.

He stated, “The police received information about the disturbance of peace in the Oke-Odan community in Ishashi by some boys wearing military uniform.”

Subsequently, operatives from the Ishashi division swiftly intervened and detained the suspects, aged between 24 and 39.

An investigation has been initiated, and the suspects will soon face charges in court, according to Hundeyin.
