Three Nigerian Players Released by French Club Saint Etienne


Saint Etienne, a French D1 Arkema team, has announced the departure of three Nigerian players – Yewande Balogun, Reginald Otu, and Amanda Mbadi, according to NewsNow.

These players are part of a group of 14 individuals leaving the club.

During her two-year stint at the club, the 35-year-old Balogun only managed to make five appearances.

Otu, on the other hand, played a crucial role in Saint Etienne’s promotion to the top-flight league last season, featuring in 20 matches.

Meanwhile, Mbadi, who joined from Thonon Evian last summer, participated in 14 matches throughout the season.
