Confirmation has arrived from Chelsea as they announce the successful completion of a season-long loan deal for defender Caleb Wiley to French Ligue 1 outfit, Strasbourg.
On Sunday, Chelsea made the disclosure through an official statement on their website.
Part of Chelsea’s statement regarding the transfer read, “Chelsea defender Caleb Wiley has sealed a season-long loan agreement with Ligue 1 side Strasbourg. Best of luck, Caleb.”
Wiley had recently joined Chelsea from Atlanta United, and shortly after, he represented the USA at the 2024 Olympic Games held in Paris.
Now at the age of 19, Wiley’s journey of growth and progress will continue at Strasbourg for the entirety of the upcoming 2024-25 season.
