Brutally attacked, a 64-year-old woman was left in a coma after being choked until unconscious and then raped by a man. The perpetrator, 38-year-old Frankie Harris, has been arrested for this heinous crime.
Surveillance footage revealed that the attacker approached the woman, initially engaging in what seemed to be a friendly conversation. However, this was a ploy to catch her off guard.
The disturbing incident, captured on camera, occurred in East Harlem, New York on May 18. Harris assaulted the woman and then left the scene on a bicycle as the victim lay in a pool of her own blood and feces.
The victim is currently in a medically induced coma in the hospital to aid her recovery. Following the release of the suspect’s photo and surveillance footage, Harris was apprehended by the New York City police.
It was revealed that Harris is believed to be mentally disabled and a user of K2, a synthetic drug with unpredictable effects. After being arrested, he claimed that the assault was consensual. He has been charged with attempted murder, rape, strangulation, and sex abuse.
The victim’s son, Kristian Delgado, expressed his desire to see Harris face the maximum punishment for the heinous crime. He emphasized that his mother, though having psychiatric issues, was well-loved by everyone.
