The new Super Eagles jerseys for 2020 by Nike have impressed many with their design.
The sportswear giant presented the new Super Eagles jerseys in New York on Wednesday, and the home jersey has caused quite a stir.
Senior Director, Global Communications for Nike, Heidi Burgett, shared the new jerseys on his official Twitter page, revealing that the home jersey took inspiration from the traditional agbada while the away kit was inspired by Onaism.
In his tweet, he wrote: ‘New 2020 kits for Nigeria: Home kit’s hand-drawn design fuses the traditional aesthetic of an agbada robe w/ modern football design. Away kit trim is inspired by Onaism. Broader collection of Super Eagles apparel includes a poncho, vest, dress, & more.’

The previous jerseys also garnered global attention when they were revealed in February 2018, and they were voted as the best kit at the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
