The Player of the Week in Europa League: Lookman

Ademola Lookman from Nigeria has been awarded the prestigious UEFA Europa League Player of the Week title.

In Atalanta’s impressive 3-0 win against Olympic Marseille on Thursday night, Lookman stood out with his performance.

This marks his first win of the award in this season.

During the match at Gewiss Stadium, Bergamo, the 29-year-old contributed with one goal and one assist.

Surpassing AS Roma’s goalkeeper Mile Svilar, Lookman received the highest number of votes.

Throughout the season, Lookman has been involved in 20 goals in various competitions for Atalanta, scoring 12 goals and providing eight assists.

La Dea is set to take on the recently crowned Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen in the final match.

The match is scheduled to take place at Aviva Stadium, Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday, May 22.
