'The place is bustling' – Trump cheers as people rush to bars to have drinks after Supreme court overturns Wisconsin Governor's lockdown order

US President, Donald Trump, expressed his excitement on Twitter on Thursday after seeing photos on social media of people heading to bars and the streets following a judge’s decision to overturn Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers’ stay-at-home lockdown order.

Trump hailed the court’s ruling as a ‘victory,’ stating that ‘people want to get on with their lives.’

The State Supreme Court made a surprising decision by striking down Governor Tony Evers’ stay-at-home order, citing the administration’s overreach in extending the mandate for another month without consulting legislators.

It marked the first of its kind ruling in the US, a nation that has endured over 82,000 deaths from Coronavirus.

Donald Trump responded to the news by tweeting: ”The Great State of Wisconsin, home to Tom Tiffany’s big Congressional Victory on Tuesday, was just given another win. Its Democrat Governor was forced by the courts to let the State Open. The people want to get on with their lives. The place is bustling!” He also referred to the Republicans’ triumph in a special election Tuesday to fill the seat of former Rep. Sean Duffy.

‘Good numbers coming out of States that are opening. America is getting its life back! Vaccine work is looking VERY promising, before end of year. Likewise, other solutions!,’ he added
