The Kaduna State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has emphasized that they will not backtrack on the scheduled timetable for the local government elections that was previously announced.
In a statement on Friday, the PDP State Publicity Secretary, Abraham Alberah Catoh, made it clear that any alterations to the timetable would be communicated promptly.
He urged all members and supporters to maintain decorum during and after the councillorship and chairmanship primaries, commencing on Saturday, August 17, 2024, starting with the councillorship primaries at various ward headquarters.
Emphasizing that all regulations outlined in the party’s constitution and the 2024 chairmanship and councillorship guidelines will be rigorously followed.
