In response to the upcoming August 1 protest, the Zamfara State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, has strategically positioned 520 personnel across the 14 local government areas of the state.
According to the Command’s spokesperson, ASCII Umar Mohammad M, the deployment of these personnel is crucial for safeguarding the lives and properties of the civil populace. He emphasized that the operatives have been tasked with ensuring the protection of critical national assets and infrastructures.
Commandant Sani Mustapha also underscored the pressing need to prioritize the security of lives and properties, making the deployment of personnel a critical and essential measure.
