The Nigerian Law Society Forms Interim National Executive Committee

Establishing an Interim National Executive Committee, the Nigerian Law Society (NLS) takes a significant step forward.

In a recent statement, Chief Bolaji Ayorinde, SAN, Chairman of the NLS Board of Trustees, announced the appointment of members to this committee.

Effective from Thursday, 1st August, 2024, and lasting till Thursday, 31st July, 2025, the appointees are poised to serve a one-year term.

This committee comprises Chief Mela Audu Nunghe, SAN, as President, Hon. Nimi Walson-Jackiii as Vice President South, Mallam Abdulqadir Alhaji Sani as Vice President North, Mr. Steve Abar as General Secretary, Madam Alice Ogaku Awonugba as Assistant General Secretary, Madam Zara Umar Yakub as Financial Secretary, Madam Chioma Ferguson as Treasurer, Mr. Stephen Uchenna Nwankwo (Steve Sun) as Publicity Secretary, and Mr. Oluniyi Adediji as Welfare Secretary, as detailed in the statement.
