The New Super Eagles Coach, Bruno Labbadia, Appointed by NFF

An announcement has been made by the Nigeria Football Federation regarding the appointment of Bruno Labbadia, a German tactician, as the new coach of the Super Eagles, effective immediately.

The news of Labbadia’s appointment was conveyed through a tweet on Tuesday morning by the NFF’s official handle, identified as #thenff.

In a statement released, it was stated, “The Nigeria Football Federation has officially confirmed the agreement with German tactician, Bruno Labbadia, to assume the role of Head Coach for Nigeria’s senior men’s national team, the Super Eagles.”

Dr. Mohammed Sanusi, the General Secretary of the federation, mentioned, “The NFF Executive Committee has endorsed the recommendation from its Technical and Development sub-committee to appoint Mr. Bruno Labbadia as the Head Coach of the Super Eagles.”

Labbadia now holds the title of the 37th Head Coach of the Super Eagles following the departure of the former coach, Finidi George.
